ESPADA
Martin Espada has published
thirteen books in all as a poet, editor and translator. His eighth
book of poems is called The Republic of Poetry, forthcoming from
W.W. Norton. His last collection, Alabanza: New and Selected Poems
(1982-2002) was named an American Library Association Notable
Book of the year.

Aztlan Mexica Nation Harmony
Circle, other native organizations, and native nations are coming
together to encourage the youth to keep our native traditions
alive. A sunrise ceremony will take place here at the north direction
conducted by the traditional native people (Gabrieleno/Shoshone,and
Tataviam), then runners will begin. Runners from all 4 directions
will converge at Lincoln Park @ 2pm. Everyone is welcome.

play, and perform music has quickly shaped this two year old outfit
into a true rock and roll entity. Come and enjoy an evening of
great Blues Music!
