Sat., JUNE 10 @ 8PM DRAMATIC READING OF THE ILIAD
An examination of performance styles of the "Rhapsody" or "Story Teller" of Homer's time, and how Homer might have performed. Also how performing THE ILIAD in the style of Homer works for a modern audience. Eldon Quick brings The Iliad to life performing it as he believes Homer did 2,700 years ago reproducing the 18 characters in Book One, in just one hour!
