Luis J. Rodriguez - April 30th, Saturday. 4 to 6 pm

From the award-winning author of the contemporary classic memoir Always Running: La Vida Loca, Gang Days in L.A., and The Republic of East L.A., comes Luis J. Rodriguez's long-awaited first novel, MUSIC OF THE MILL. The novel takes the reader from the cultural and industrial boom years of the 1950s and 1960s, to its downward spiral in the 1970s, to the present day world of wireless technology and its resulting social upheavals. Book presentation and signing followed by a live performance by Trio Amor Y Paz: with romantic stylings of Chicano/Mexicano music, musica de Boleros and Rancheras.
