Thurs., Fri., & Sat. @ 7:00 PM, June 17-19& June 24-26

 

Auditions, rehearsals, performances primarily at Tia Chucha's Café Cultural, 12737 Glenoaks Blvd. #22, Sylmar, CA 91342. Play first performed for EdgeFest 2003. See reviews.  This will be a community production, where first-time actors (ages 15 & up) will get to work with seasoned actors in putting up the production. Besides receiving workshops in Production Design, Acting, Directing, and Writing, they will be able to apply everything they learn during the production run in actual performance.  No cost to participate.

Casting: Men & Women, ages 15 and up. Chicano/Latinos (However, good actors of any ethnicity are more than welcome). Roles range from Mexican Revolutionaries to Chicano Yuppies to Gang Bangers.

Auditions-      Wed.-Fri., April 28-30 4-6:00 PM. Sat., May 1st from . . . . . . . . . . . .3-6:00 PM

Wed. and Thurs., May 5-6 from 3-6:00 PM

(Actors/Participants notified Thursday, May 6.)

You will need to memorize poem “Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town” and read from sides of the play.
